Goodcrete AS is a light gray non-toxic inorganic waterproof material. It contains more than 70% amorphous active silicon, which combines with calcium hydroxide in cement to generate a new substance - calcium silicate crystals - immediately with the help of water in the air or water sources. It produces insoluble dendritic crystals in the pores and capillaries of concrete, and reproduces and fills the capillary pores of concrete and mortar at large angles and areas, cutting off the channels of air and water flow and increasing density. This repeated reaction and reproduction function enables the cracks caused by thermal cracking and shrinkage of concrete to self heal, thereby achieving long-term waterproof and moisture-proof effects. At the same time, it can extend the life of ordinary concrete by 1-2 times. It has functions such as densification, waterproofing, moisture resistance, and crack self-healing.
Its unique "crack self-healing" function is something that many waterproof materials cannot achieve.
The waterproof mechanism of the solid shield admixture is to generate calcium silicate crystals by using water and reactant calcium hydroxide. While preventing the loss of free calcium hydroxide, the colloid continuously reproduces and fills the gaps in the water channel, forming a high-density impermeable body structure, thus achieving the effect of structural waterproofing.
